CF Martin began constructing guitars extra than 175 years ago. He focused on high quality of tone and outstanding workmanship. Martin now carries over 120 models in their line of guitars, which includes the Martin Electric Guitar. For a person who's determined to obtain good sound just about every time, Martin is it. Requiring anywhere from three to six months to ensure the most beneficial tonal excellent before putting out a product is just among the hallmarks of this corporation. Much of the process is carried out by hand, utilizing technologies when suitable.
Top: The leading of the guitar is normally created of one piece of close grained spruce, split in two and laid in half over the leading. This procedure is known as 'bock-matching'. To enhance the appearance of the guitar a rosette may perhaps be inlaid around the soundhole or a thin strip of darker wood may possibly sometimes be inlaid along the guitar behind the bridge. Bridge: Steel string guitars have non-adjustable bridges fixed to the guitar top. The function of the bridge is to transmit the string vibration to the guitar leading, which will vibrate in turn and amplify the sound of the guitar. The bridge is often produced of rosewood or ebony and is fitted with a bone or plastic saddle. The acoustic guitar bridge does not compensate for intonation.

Why does my guitar suddenly have fret buzz? please help if possible a professional's answer?
Well i have a ESP Viper 50 and its a 24-3/4" scale electric guitar. My problem is that i recently put some Ernie ball super slinky strings - http://www.guitarcenter.com/Ernie-Ball-2223-Nickel-Super-Slinky-Pink-Electric-Guitar-Strings-100096682-i1122278.gc
and they cause my guitar to have fret buzz. Is there any way i can fix this? if so please tell me how, if not please tell me what other gauge (ernie ball) strings i can get that will work without any fret buzz. Any answers are greatly appreciated!! Thank You in Advance!!
It's probably very simple.
Super slinky strings are .009 gauge strings so it's more than likely NOT your string saddle height since you had no buzz before. If you had put on heavier strings, they are thicker and could be too thick for your settings and you'd have to raise up the tune-o-matic bridge just slightly.
Changing the gauge a couple of 100ths up or down won't cause that bad a neck tension difference to worry about. So I wouldn't worry about that.
The two things I'd consider most likely are these.
#1...New string buzz. New wound strings often have a buzzy sound when you first put them on, and the buzz goes away after they have been stretched out. If you just play it like that, after about a week of playing it should go away by itself. You can speed it up by gently but firmly tugging up on the string by the pickups and stretching them a bit. It'll probably be out of tune (lower pitch) after you do that. Retune it and tug again. Check the tune and retune again. Repeat that until the string stops going out of tune when you tug up on it. You'll probably notice, too, that the string doesn't stretch up as far after each new round of tugging.
Do that to all your strings. The wound strings will be a little twangy still but it'll go away faster.
That's the most likely one. I always changed strings at least a week before a gig to make sure my strings sounded good by the time of the gig.

The other possibility is that you are drop tuning or are not tuned all the way up to the right pitch (A=440)
lower tunings need thicker strings to sound OK and super slinky strings are too light and if tuned even a little low the wound strings really flop around. (you know the rubber band like sound when they are really loose? That's what it is basically.) If you drop tune you need at least. .011 gauge for mild drop tuning and even thicker strings for drop C. Maybe even bigger..I don't drop tune so I don't know the exact gauges to use, but I know you do need thicker strings.
I'm getting a bit wordy here....LOL
Anyway try the stretching thing and wait a week if you are not drop tuning.
Also if you like the .009 E string gauge, then I recommend the Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky set of strings.
It has Slinky wound strings and Super Slinky high strings. So the wound strings are thicker. It also gives you more ballsy power chords while still being easy to play solos.
I've used them for like 15-20 years. They are really good.
They'll still buzz a little at first just like any new string, but you'll really like the power of the thicker strings. Super Slinky's sound a bit thin with power chords.
That should help you.
(worse comes to worse, just crank up the tune-o matic bridge just enough to get rid of the buzz)
