Ask any person to draw a guitar, any individual; doesn't matter how old or young, or what gender, it also doesn't matter where he comes from. I'll bet every little thing that you'll find only two things that they will wind up with, a scribble of an acoustic guitar, or an electric guitar that looks unmistakably like a Fender Stratocaster. Fender Electric guitars are indeed one of the most favorite electric guitar inside the planet; and that's not for absolutely nothing, man. Their line of electric guitars has each produced a mark on the history of music. Man's history is fairly significantly surrounded with music and art, and Fender's have grow to be part of it too.

Schecter Synyster Custom Electric Guitar?
Hi Everyone.
I've been thinking of buy a Schecter Synyster Custom at an online (New Zealand) site: www.musicthingz.com priced at NZD 1869.00.
Does anyone know the neck radius of the Synyster Custom? I looked at reviews all over the web but none of them states the neck radius.
A second guitar that I have been thinking of buying is the Jackson Matt Tuck Signature Rhoads, which cost NZD 2,149.00 at Musicthingz, and NZD 2699.00 at my local guitar store. The Matt Tuck Sig has a 12 to 16 inch neck radius, but doesn't have a Floyd Rose and only has 22 frets.
Which guitar should I buy? If anyone has any other recommendations please do tell.
Syn's custom has a radius of an Ibanez/Gibson. The Matt Tuck has a compound radius.
Honestly dude, I love both of those players... but their guitars are over priced. Any signature series guitar is more money because of someones name on it. Syns guitar has a cool paint job, but whatever. Just look at the options that they have, neck thru, 24 frets (22 in Tucks case), Floyds. I think Paget is a better guitarist than Tuck... but whatever.
Check out the BC Rich Jr V Deluxe. They really did a great job on that. Its cheap, neck thru, 24 frets, ORIGINAL Floyd Rose, and active 81/85 EMGs. It also has some great inlay work, body, headstock and even the fret markers on the top of the neck are abalone. Carvin makes a great neck thru V as does Ibanez. Im not a fan of the Gibson V's, no tremolo, and their necks are set, not neck thru.
Obviously you want a locking trem for the music that you are playing. Take a look at the Alexi LTD 600 also. It plays great, its just missing the neck pup.
If you arent so set on V's, check out the Ibanez RGT42DX, and the ESP MH-300.
I have a V, and its really annoying to play sitting down. I do a lot of my practicing seated. I typically only use my V live because of that. V's also have a tendency to chip on the wings. So, if you are going to spend a lot of money, keep in mind you may get some dings along the way!!! You will also need a stand that holds the guitar by the headstock/neck, not one that it sits on, unless you just put it back in the case.
Bracing: Braces or 'ribs', are thin pieces of wood glued to the top and back of the guitar inside the guitar body. The braces add strength to the guitar and, depending on the number and positioning of the ribs, can significantly impact the guitar tone. The steel string guitar uses the conventional 'X' brace pattern, with the centre of the X just below the soundhole. Body: The acoustic guitar has a hollow body, generally of mahogany. The body has waisted sides and, depending on the model, may perhaps also have a cutaway on the lower bout to enable access to the greater frets. Binding is inlaid around the body at the point where the top and back meet the sides of the guitar. The guitar is finished with polyester, polyurethane or nitro-cellulose lacquer depending on model and maker. In the event you need to know other Fender Electric Guitars, here they're with some brief details: Fender Telecaster - fundamentally, this was the first commercially successful solid - body electric guitar and the third commercial guitar from Fender. The first 1 was the Esquire, a single pickup, solid - body guitar, then the Broadcaster that was discontinued as a result of copyright challenges with Gretsch (which later would be owned by Fender) and then the Telecaster. A double single - coil pick up electric guitar which tone was probably the most sought right after when it comes to the standard blues, rock and roll and jazz. Fender Stratocaster - the supposed to be improvement of the Telecaster but was produced to be a different guitar as per suggested by customers. In most people's opinion, it really is the best guitar. Often set up having a 3 single coil pick up set up with the bridge pick up slanting to get which you one of a kind tone. Jimi Hendrix employed it, Stevie Ray Vaughn employed it, Eric Clapton employed it, John Mayer used it and the list goes on and on. There are actually a whole lot far more Fender Electric Guitars and them users but I cannot put it all on 1 post. So that's it for now.
